King Pin and Bushing Kit for Yamaha G2, G8, G11, G14, G16, G19 and G20 — Replaces OEM J55-F3516-00

King pins are the pivot pins the front spindles turn on, and the bushings are the wear surfaces around them. This aftermarket replacement kit is for older Yamaha G-series golf carts. Worn pins and bushings cause loose or wobbly front wheels, extra play in the steering, clunks over bumps, and uneven front tire wear.

Installation — difficulty: advanced (about 1.5–2 hours)

1. Remove the key and disconnect the battery negative cable (on electric carts, the main negative cable of the battery pack).
2. Lift the front of the cart and support it on jack stands, then remove the front wheels and hubs.
3. Remove the old king pins and bushings; old bushings may need to be pressed or driven out.
4. Fit the new bushings and king pins, grease them if your cart has grease fittings, and reassemble.
5. Have the front alignment checked and test the steering before normal driving.
6. If you are not comfortable with this job, a golf cart mechanic can fit it for you.
