The reverse buzzer beeps whenever the cart is in reverse, warning people behind you. This aftermarket replacement matches Club Car OEM 1016851, listed in the manuals as "BUZZER, REVERSE (9-48 VDC)". Replace it if there is no beep in reverse, the sound is weak or crackly, or the housing is cracked or water-damaged.

Installation — difficulty: easy (about 10–20 minutes)

1. Gas carts: remove the key and disconnect the battery negative cable. Electric carts: put the Tow/Run switch in TOW and disconnect the main negative battery cable.
2. Find the old buzzer under the dash or in the front body electrical area.
3. Take a photo of the wiring, then disconnect the wires and remove the old buzzer.
4. Mount the new buzzer in the same place and connect the wires as in your photo, positive to positive and negative to negative.
5. Reconnect the battery (and set the switch back to RUN on electric carts), select reverse, and check that it beeps.
