Club Car DS Delta A-Plate Assembly — Replaces OEM 1016353

This aftermarket replacement delta A-plate is the plate-style arm in the upper front suspension of Club Car DS-style carts, one on each side. It replaces Club Car OEM 1016353, which Club Car parts manuals list as "ASSEMBLY, DELTA A-PLATE", two per cart. Replace it if the plate is bent after hitting a curb, the mounting points are worn or cracked, or the front end clunks and the steering pulls or wanders.

Installation — difficulty: advanced (about 1–2 hours per side)

1. On electric carts, put the Tow/Run switch in TOW and disconnect the main negative battery cable; on gas carts, remove the key and disconnect the battery negative cable.
2. Lift the front, support it on jack stands and remove the wheel.
3. Note the order of bolts, washers and bushings, then unbolt the old A-plate.
4. Fit the new A-plate with the hardware in the same order and tighten to your service manual’s values.
5. Refit the wheel, reconnect the battery and have the alignment checked.
6. If you’re not comfortable doing this yourself, a golf cart mechanic can do it.
