Rear Brake Drum Assembly (30 Spline, Large Hole) for EZGO TXT & RXV — Replaces OEM 21807G1

This is an aftermarket replacement rear brake drum assembly for EZGO carts that use OEM 21807G1, listed in EZGO parts manuals as "BRAKE DRUM ASSEMBLY", two per cart. It has a 30-tooth spline and a large center hole. Replace drums that are scored, cracked or out of round (a pulsing brake pedal).

Installation — difficulty: moderate (about 30–45 minutes per side)

1. Electric carts: put the Tow/Run switch in TOW and disconnect the main negative battery cable. Gas carts: remove the key and disconnect the battery negative cable.
2. Chock the front wheels, lift the rear of the cart and support it on jack stands. Remove the wheel.
3. Remove the dust cap, cotter pin and axle nut, then slide the old drum off (back off the brake adjuster if it is tight).
4. Check the shoes, fit the new drum and refit the axle nut (tightened to your service manual value) with a new cotter pin.
5. Refit the wheel, adjust the brakes and test them at low speed.
