EZGO TXT Electric Brake Drum & Hub Assembly (24 Spline) — Replaces OEM 19186G1

This aftermarket replacement brake drum and hub assembly slides onto the rear axle and gives the brake shoes a surface to stop against on EZGO TXT electric carts. It replaces EZGO OEM 19186G1, listed in EZGO parts manuals as "BRAKE DRUM ASSEMBLY", two per cart. Replace it if the drum is deeply scored or cracked, the brake pedal pulses, or the hub splines are worn.

• Older TXT electric (PDS) carts: not confirmed in our manuals, so check your old drum first
• Not for gas EZGO carts, Club Car or Yamaha carts

Installation — difficulty: moderate (about 45–60 minutes per side)

1. Put the Tow/Run switch in TOW and disconnect the main negative battery cable.
2. Chock the front wheels, lift the rear onto jack stands and remove the wheel.
3. Remove the dust cap (if fitted), cotter pin and axle nut, then pull the old drum off (a hub puller helps if stuck).
4. Check the brake shoes, then slide the new drum onto the splines.
5. Fit the axle nut (tightened to your service manual’s value) and a new cotter pin, then refit the wheel.
6. Lower the cart, reconnect the battery and test the brakes at low speed.
