Front & Rear Shock Absorbers for EZGO TXT — Replaces OEM 70928-G01, 76418-01

This aftermarket replacement set has four shock absorbers to cover the front and rear of an EZGO TXT. Shocks damp the up-and-down movement of the suspension; worn ones let the cart bounce, bottom out and wander over bumps, and they wear tires faster. Look for oil leaking from a shock, a cart that keeps bouncing after a bump, or worn rubber bushings at the mounts.

Installation — difficulty: moderate (about 1–1.5 hours for all four)

1. Gas carts: remove the key and disconnect the battery negative cable. Electric carts: put the Tow/Run switch in TOW and disconnect the main negative battery cable.
2. Lift the cart and support the frame on jack stands, with a jack under the suspension corner you are working on.
3. Remove the upper and lower mounting nuts and bolts and take out the old shock.
4. Fit the new shock with the bushings and washers in the same order and tighten the nuts.
5. Repeat for each corner, lower the cart and take a short test ride.
