Stainless Steel Seat Hinge Set for Club Car DS, Villager & Carryall — Replaces OEM 1011652, 1012412

This aftermarket replacement hinge set joins the seat bottom to the body so the seat can tip forward. It covers two Club Car parts: the seat hinge plate, OEM 1011652 ("PLATE, SEAT HINGE, STAINLESS STEEL"), and the body hinge plate, OEM 1012412 ("PLATE, BODY HINGE"). Replace them when the seat wobbles, a hinge is bent or rusted through, or the seat no longer sits square on the body.

Installation — difficulty: easy (about 20–30 minutes)

1. Gas carts: remove the key and disconnect the battery negative cable. Electric carts: put the Tow/Run switch in TOW and disconnect the main negative battery cable.
2. Tip the seat bottom forward and lift it off.
3. Unbolt the old hinge plates from the seat bottom and the body.
4. Bolt the new plates on in the same positions.
5. Refit the seat, check that it opens and closes squarely, then reconnect the battery.
