Installation — difficulty: advanced (about 1–2 hours)

1. Put the Tow/Run switch in TOW and disconnect the main negative battery cable.
2. Take clear photos of every cable and wire on the old controller and label them.
3. Disconnect the cables and the 5-pin plug, then unbolt the old controller.
4. Mount the new controller in the same place and reconnect everything exactly as in your photos.
5. Reconnect the battery, lift the drive wheels off the ground and test forward and reverse slowly before driving.
6. If you are not comfortable doing this job, have a golf cart mechanic install it.
