This is an aftermarket replacement forward/reverse switch assembly for Club Car 48-volt electric carts with the PowerDrive system. It matches Club Car OEM 101753005, listed in the parts manuals as "ASSEMBLY, FORWARD/REVERSE SWITCH" under "POWERDRIVE SYSTEM 48 VEHICLE". The switch reverses the motor connections when you move the F&R handle. Common signs it needs replacing: the cart won’t move in one or both directions, it only runs after you wiggle the handle, or the contacts look burnt or pitted.

Installation — difficulty: moderate (about 1 hour)

1. Put the Tow/Run switch in TOW and disconnect the main negative battery cable.
2. Photograph and label every wire on the old switch before you remove anything.
3. Disconnect the wires, remove the mounting hardware and lift out the old assembly.
4. Install the new assembly and reconnect each wire exactly as in your photos. Tighten the terminals.
5. Reconnect the battery, set the switch to RUN and test forward and reverse slowly in a clear area.
