This aftermarket replacement impulse fuel pump is for Club Car gas carts. It replaces Club Car OEM 1014523, listed in Club Car parts manuals as "PUMP, FUEL IMPULSE" in the fuel system, one per cart. If the engine starts and then dies, surges, or loses power going uphill, a worn pump diaphragm is a common cause.

Installation — difficulty: easy (about 20–30 minutes)

1. Remove the key and disconnect the battery negative cable. Let the engine cool and work in a well-ventilated area away from sparks or flames.
2. Take a photo or mark the three hoses on the old pump: fuel in, fuel out and the pulse line from the engine.
3. Pinch off the fuel hose or keep a rag ready, then remove the hoses and the mounting screws.
4. Fit the new pump in the same position and connect each hose to the same port as before; replace any cracked hoses or clamps.
5. Reconnect the battery, start the engine and check for fuel leaks before driving.
