36V PowerWise Charger Receptacle & Plug for EZGO TXT & Medalist — Replaces OEM 73063-G01, 73345G01

This aftermarket replacement set is for 36-volt EZGO electric carts with PowerWise charging: the cart-side charger receptacle and the matching plug with handle, as listed in our title. EZGO lists OEM 73063G01 as "CHARGER RECEPTACLE ASSEMBLY". If the charger will not start, cuts out when you move the cord, or the pins look burnt or loose, a worn receptacle or plug is a common cause.

Installation — difficulty: easy (about 30 minutes)

1. Unplug the charger from the wall. Put the Tow/Run switch in TOW and disconnect the main negative battery cable.
2. Photograph the wiring on the old receptacle, then disconnect the wires.
3. Remove the mounting screws and take out the old receptacle.
4. Fit the new receptacle, reconnect the wires as in your photo and refit the screws. To replace the charger-cord plug, match the old wiring or ask a technician.
5. Reconnect the battery, set the switch to RUN and plug in the charger to check that it charges.
