The MCOR (Motor Controller Output Regulator) is the throttle sensor on the accelerator pedal: it tells the speed controller how far you are pressing the pedal. Installation — difficulty: moderate (about 30–45 minutes)

1. Put the Tow/Run switch in TOW and disconnect the main negative battery cable.
2. Remove the cover over the accelerator pedal assembly so you can reach the MCOR.
3. Unplug the MCOR wiring connector and remove the mounting screws.
4. Fit the new MCOR in the same position, refit the screws and plug the connector back in. Check that the pedal returns fully on its own.
5. Refit the cover, reconnect the battery, set the switch to RUN and test for smooth acceleration in an open area.
