Club Car Precedent Front Suspension Bushing & Sleeve Kit — Replaces OEM 102289901

This aftermarket replacement kit renews the polyurethane bushings and sleeves in the front suspension of Club Car Precedent, Tempo and Onward carts. It replaces Club Car OEM 102289901, which Club Car parts manuals list as "KIT, SUSP, BUSHING JOINTS" for the upper front suspension. Worn bushings show up as clunking over bumps, loose or wandering steering, and uneven wear on the front tires.

Installation — difficulty: moderate (about 1.5–2 hours)

1. On electric carts, put the Tow/Run switch in TOW and disconnect the main negative battery cable; on gas carts, remove the key and disconnect the battery negative cable.
2. Lift the front of the cart, support it on jack stands under the frame and remove the front wheels.
3. Working one side at a time, unbolt the upper A-arm and the spring mounts you are servicing.
4. Push out the old bushings and sleeves, clean the bores and fit the new bushings and sleeves.
5. Reassemble, tighten all bolts to the values in your service manual, refit the wheels and reconnect the battery.
6. Have the front alignment checked after the job.
