Input Gear Kit (Input Shaft, Clasp Spring, Oil Seal, O-Ring) for EZGO RXV & TXT 72V Electric — Replaces OEM 620329

This aftermarket replacement input gear kit is for the rear transaxle on EZGO RXV and TXT 72V electric carts. It replaces EZGO OEM 620329, listed in EZGO parts manuals as "INPUT GEAR KIT". Replace it when the input splines are worn (the motor spins but the cart does not move or clunks on take-off), or the input seal is leaking oil.

Installation — difficulty: advanced (about 2–3 hours)

1. Put the Tow/Run switch in TOW and disconnect the main negative battery cable.
2. Lift the rear of the cart, support it securely on jack stands and drain the transaxle oil.
3. Remove the parts needed to open the transaxle and reach the input gear, as described in your service manual.
4. Replace the input shaft, clasp spring, oil seal and O-ring with the new parts.
5. Reassemble, refill the transaxle with the correct oil and check for leaks before driving.
6. This is an internal transaxle repair. If you are not comfortable doing this job, have a golf cart mechanic install it.
