Drive Belt & Starter/Generator Belt Kit for EZGO TXT Gas — Replaces OEM 72054-G01, 26414-G01

This aftermarket replacement belt kit has one drive belt and one starter/generator belt for EZGO gas carts. It replaces EZGO OEM 72054-G01 ("DRIVE BELT") and 26414-G01 ("STARTER / GENERATOR BELT"). Replace the drive belt when it is glazed, cracked or slipping (the engine revs but the cart is slow), and the starter belt when the engine cranks slowly or the belt squeals.

Installation — difficulty: moderate (about 30–45 minutes)

1. Remove the key and disconnect the battery negative cable.
2. Raise the seat and remove any covers so you can reach the clutches and the starter/generator.
3. Drive belt: turn the driven clutch by hand while rolling the old belt off it, then fit the new belt on the drive clutch and roll it onto the driven clutch the same way.
4. Starter/generator belt: loosen the starter/generator mounting and adjuster bolts, swap the belt, set the tension as described in your service manual and retighten the bolts.
5. Reconnect the battery, start the engine and check that both belts run straight.
