Installation

Loosen the starter/generator mounting bolts to release belt tension. Remove the old belt from the pulleys. Route the new belt around the engine crankshaft pulley and the starter/generator pulley. Adjust the starter/generator position to achieve proper belt tension (approximately 1/4 inch deflection at mid-span). Tighten all mounting bolts. Installation time: approximately 20-30 minutes.
